Moomba Ski Boats
Skier’s Choice, Inc. has been competitively producing ski boats for over the past twenty some years, and were first known for the Supra name brand. The Supra models focus on high-end luxury ski and wakeboard boats. Soon Skier’s Choice recognized a need for quality ski boats for the mid-market range, and Moomba Boats was born.
Moomba Ski Boats have a long history of creating quality ski boats for both competition and or recreation. The heart of Moomba boats is to produce quality ski boats at highly competitive prices. There has been a tremendous focus on making sure that quality is maintained and that their product is offered at an affordable price. You can see our Used Moomba choices here. Continued below:

In 1991, Skier’s Choice unveiled the very first model under the Moomba boat name. It was the Moomba Boomerang. Consumers quickly embraced the Moomba Boomerang. It was one of the best valued ski boats on the market at that time. With the intense focus on inboards at this time for ski boats, the cost of ski boats hit dramatic higher prices. The average quality ski boat sold for over $25,000 at this time, thus proving the smart decision of Skier’s Choice to speak directly to the mid-market.
There are currently 7 models that make up the current fleet for Moomba. They are the Gravity XLV, the Mobius XLV, the Liquid Force LSV, the Mobius LSV, the Mobius LS, the Outback V, and the Moomba Outback. Although each of these models has slight variations from each other, they are all marketed as tournament inboard boats.
The Gravity XLV was named after the Gravity Games. It seats up to 16 individuals, and every part of it is designed for extreme wakeboarding. The Moomba Mobius XLV is marketed as their “flagship” of the Moomba trademark. It also seats up to 16 people, and boasts huge wakes. This ski boat is where Moomba really feels that you get the most boat for your money.

The Liquid Force LSV is their top of the line Wakeboard ski boat. With this model Moomba combined the Mobius LSV and the Liquid Force. It seats a little bit less than the Gravity XLV and the Mobius XLV, but that hasn’t kept it from being one of the most popular ski boats at the tournament level. The Mobius XLV was introduced in 2006 and boasted the “perfect curl” of all ski boats.
The Mobius LS, the Outback V, and the Outback are all marketed as their “cost friendly” ski boats. They have the classic look of Moomba boats but are offered at much more affordable pricing. These are marketed for individuals that desire a good quality ski boat that can perform with the high-end ski boats without the high-end cost. These boats seat between 13 and 10 people. The Moomba Outback is their smallest model, seating 10.
Moomba has focused on offering sleek, tournament level ski boats throughout their history. In 2000 the Supra and Moomba were selected for the official towboats for America’s Cup. Since 2002, they have also steadily been selected as the official towboats for the Gravity Games. With their wide range in pricing, Moomba boats have a lot to offer the consumer.
