Sanger Ski Boats

Sanger was named after the small Californian town of Sanger, and was established way back in 1954, by Jack Davidson. Jack was a boating enthusiast and started building his own wooden boats at the young age of sixteen. He made his mark in 1958, when he set a record at a drag boat racing competition, ending with a speed of one hundred and eighteen miles per hours.

Fast forward to the present, Sanger Boats is now owned exclusively by Jack’s children, Mike and Kathy Davidson. They continue to carry the torch of their father’s legacy, as they continue to work on the high quality and innovative boats that their father was always known for.

Truly, Sanger has mastered boat making as a craft and an art. To this day, they boast of building wakeboard and ski boats with the same attention to detail. That is why each Sanger ski boat can be rightfully called a masterpiece. No production line-type manufacturing here. All Sanger ski boats are made with their loving hands, one piece at a time, by one craftsman.

So now that we’ve got the preliminaries covered, the real question is, how do Sanger ski boats fare in the water? Let’s take the Sanger V237 as an example. This model is patterned after an SUV. That means it can accommodate the entire gang or the whole family. And although the Sanger V237 is a large boat, it is still easy to manipulate as it responds fast and firmly to the driver’s steering.

Another great feature of the Sanger V237 is that it comes equipped with its patented Extend-A-Seat. This feature is actually a seat that can be extended or stored as needed. It is great for water sports enthusiasts as it provides them a place to comfortably and safely put on their skis, or get on their boards. It is also a great place for hanging out, if you just want to relax and enjoy the ride.

The Sanger V237 ski boat has a length of twenty-three meters and five inches. It has a beam of one hundred and two inches and a draft of twenty-seven inches. The boat weights approximately four thousand one hundred and fifty pounds. It has a fuel capacity of fifty gallons and a seating capacity of fourteen persons. The deadrise is sixteen inches and the front ballast weighs six hundred pounds. The dual rear ballast weighs three hundred pounds.
