There are four basic Ski Nautique designs that currently make up the 2009 fleet. They are the Ski Nautique series, the Crossover Nautique series, the Super Air Nautique series, and the 210 Icon Byerly Edition. This is a sharp fleet that offers everything from Tournament level power to family recreational fun.
The Ski Nautique boat series consists of the 196, 206, and 216 models. The Ski Nautique 196 is the official towboat for the IWSF World Water Ski Championship. This is a top of the line, Tournament level quality ski boat. The 216 model is revered for its quick ability for acceleration. Lastly, the 206 model is designed for either performance or family fun. Seating up to nine, this model combines the best of both worlds for the consumer that is an extreme water sport enthusiast, but also wishes to meet the needs of a family.
Ski Nautique 196
Sporting the largest amount of models would be the Crossover Nautique series. The Crossover series was intended to compliment both skiers and wakeboarders alike. The four models are the 211, the 216V, the 226, and the 236. The 211 model was the first of this series and introduced the only V- Drive that was designed to become certified for both pulling ski water tournaments as well as the upcoming extreme sport of wakeboarding. If looking for power as well as a spacious floor plan, the 226 meets those demands by seating up to 15 individuals.
Wakeboarding has grown into so much more than the extreme sport that was introduced as a novelty sport. The Super Air Nautique series focuses on the demands for the sport of wakeboarding.
