Pronounced “tye-guh”, Tige was established in 1991 in the State of California by Charlie Pigeon. Tiger was Charlie Pigeon’s nickname as a child, and he played around with his nickname to make it sound European, just like the ski boats that his company was producing at that time. Today, Tige produces their world-class ski boats in Abilene, Texas.

What makes Tige ski boats different from other ski boats? First of all their boats have a unique Touch Control Technology on their dashboards. This means that instead of the usual buttons and boring controls, a six point five inch full-color multimedia display touch screen is in place.
