Tige

Tige Ski Boats

Pronounced “tye-guh”, Tige was established in 1991 in the State of California by Charlie Pigeon. Tiger was Charlie Pigeon’s nickname as a child, and he played around with his nickname to make it sound European, just like the ski boats that his company was producing at that time. Today, Tige produces their world-class ski boats in Abilene, Texas.

What makes Tige ski boats different from other ski boats? First of all their boats have a unique Touch Control Technology on their dashboards. This means that instead of the usual buttons and boring controls, a six point five inch full-color multimedia display touch screen is in place.

This makes their control panels extremely user friendly and fun to use, whether you are a boating novice or a pro. Adjusting the speed of the boat, the settings on the sound system and other controls, has never been so easy. Check out our selection of used Tige boats.

Another great thing about Tige boats is that they have ultra-luxe interiors. Not only do you want to impress your family and friends with the sleek exteriors of your boat, but you want them to be in awe of its interiors as well.

All of the Tige boat seats are ergonomically designed, all made to contour to the human body’s natural form. Feel the seats and you will notice that they use thirty-six ounce expanded back vinyl. They stretch in four ways making it fit the seats excellently.

They are also coated with Prefixx, which means that it will be protected from all sorts of stains and scratches. You do not have to worry about guests eating and drinking on the boat—let them enjoy. You can wipe of anything that spills easily. Even felt-tip markers can be removed! The Tige boat seats do not deteriorate even against harsh weather conditions.

Another great feature about all Tige boats is that they have snap-in removable carpets on their flooring. This means that you can remove and install the carpet as you please, whenever you have to access the fuel tank and the other storage components that are beneath the floor.

Speaking of storage, Tige ski boats offer spacious storage compartments all throughout the boat. This is due to the excellently designed floor plans of each and every Tige boat. The Tige people made sure that space is maximized all throughout the boat for their user’s comfort as well as safety.

Tige RZ2 Ski Boat

Not only are Tige ski boats great for hanging out, but for bringing along when doing water sports as well. The Tige RZ, Z and Ve models have a transom activity center, which features full-width seating during water sports preparation. There are also storage compartments in the transom activity centers for drinks, ropes, and cleaning equipment.

But let us not forget how these boats fare in the water. Tige always gets glowing reviews for their ability to plow through choppy water conditions because of its patented ConvexV hull and TAPS2 technology. It is the first boat to feature an inboard that can be trimmed, and continues to be the only brand that offers such a feature. This means that their ConvexV hull curves up as opposed to other boats, which have static, fixed position hulls. In laymen’s terms, you are able to perform a wide range of altitudes with Tige ski boats.
